Cereal Millers Association and Suppliers working hand-in-hand to provide affordable aflatoxin test kits that conform to GIPSA validation protocol.

During a June 27, 2015 meeting of the Cereal Millers Association technical committee, members requested aflatoxin test kit providers provide readers at no cost and sell their testing platforms at prices comparable to those in Europe and North America. Three test kit manufacturers whose aflatoxin test kit products conform to accuracy and precision requirements established by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyard Administration (GIPSA) honored this request and are working through their distributors to provide a consistent and affordable supply of aflatoxin testing technologies to the Kenya cereal millers and grain handlers.
